Jade Roper is sharing her experience with pregnancy loss.
"I've been struggling what to write here as I've been navigating a miscarriage," the Bachelor Nation star wrote on Instagram Aug. 13. "It felt like all my dreams were coming true to welcome another baby into our lives, to love and to complete our family."
Jade—who shares daughter Emerson, 5, as well as sons Brooks, 4, and Reed, 2, with husband Tanner Tolbert—then reflected on the mourning process and noted the little one will always hold a place in her heart.
"While our hearts are completely broken and we have been dealing with the deep and complex grief of the loss, we have been blessed to be touched by his soul for his short amount of time," she added. "I am forever changed."
The Bachelor in Paradise alum—who met Tanner on season two of the reality series—also provided further insight into what she's been going through.
"I'm currently experiencing what is a called a missed miscarriage," she explained, "so while his heart has stopped and he has stopped growing (for some time now), my body hasn't released the pregnancy yet. I am hoping to do this naturally and am trusting in timing and in my body under the care of my provider. I've been carrying him with so much pride and cherish every moment still left with part of him, but it has also been equally as challenging and devastating."
Jade concluded with a tribute to her baby. "So while I hold my belly here, our sweet baby's body is resting in my womb as his soul soars," she wrote. "We love you with every piece of our hearts, baby Beau."
Jade, who has shared her experience with pregnancy loss before, then received words of support from her fellow Bachelor stars.
"Sending extra love to you and your family," Katie Thurston wrote in the comments. "You allowing us into your life in this moment is impactful for so many and I hope you are surrounded with nothing but love and support during this time." Added Sarah Herron, whose son Oliver Brown died shortly after she gave birth at 24 weeks, "Love to you all. I'm proud of you Jade. You are honoring your baby boy and your body with such integrity and compassion. He is so so loved and will never be forgotten. His legacy will leave a mark on your family forever."
Jade—who appeared on Chris Soules' season of The Bachelor before she fell in love with Tanner from Kaitlyn Bristowe's season of The Bachelorette—had previously expressed her desire to have another child.
"We are trying for a couple months and we'll see what happens!" she wrote on Instagram Stories in April, per BachelorNation.com. "We've both agreed though that after a few months we want to be content with three. We tried last month, but no success."
She reportedly added, "I was just ovulating again, so we'll see in a couple weeks! It's really a weird feeling, because Reed is SUCH the baby of the family, but I still feel there's one more baby out there for us. It's a heart tug."
